Red Stripes, Open Forms & Summer Fest – Big Things Are Coming!
With Red Stripe Testing happening this week, we are officially gearing up for next month’s big event: Karate Graduation on Saturday, June 14th, in the morning. Be sure to mark your calendar, as we can’t wait to celebrate your child’s progress this session.
It has also been busy as we wrapped up Week 6 of our Spar Wars Challenge. We’ve been thrilled by the energy and competitive spirit from our students, and we will be posting updated results shortly. We are especially looking forward to seeing our top contenders perform at graduation.
Also, we wanted to give you a quick reminder: we’re hosting our Open Forms Challenge on Saturday, May 25th at 3:00 p.m. at the school. Students have already started signing up, and the creativity on display is inspiring. We’re excited to see what everyone brings to the mats.
Please note that forms must be 90 seconds or less. If a routine runs longer, we will need to fade out the music to stay on schedule. Be sure to bring your music the day of, and perform at your best.
As we head toward the end of May, we have two more exciting events before the school season wraps up:
- Last Kids' Night Out of the school year: Saturday, May 31st
- Last PA Day Camp: Friday, June 6th
These events won’t return until the fall, so if you’ve been considering attending, now is the time to sign up.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that our Summer Fest event is returning. Summer is a fantastic opportunity for students to train, explore new skills, and dive into our Black Belt Curriculum — including weapons training with swords, kamas, nunchakus, and escrima sticks. It is a fun and focused way to stay active, build confidence, and make the most of summer break.
Lastly, we want to congratulate all our students for their hard work and commitment. We’re proud of the energy in the dojo and look forward to a memorable graduation and a summer filled with progress and fun.
See you on the mats!
