New Year, Strong Start!
With the first week of January in the books, it’s been amazing to see our students back in the dojo and off to such a strong start. Last week’s attendance was excellent, with very few students missing class—and only for valid reasons. This speaks volumes about the discipline and commitment our students are showing as we head into 2026.
As we set our goals for the months ahead, we’d like to remind everyone of a few important dates to mark in your calendars so you don’t miss out.
Next week will be stripe testing, which means students will be working to complete their forms with the guidance and assistance of their instructors. Over the following weeks, our focus will be on refining and perfecting these forms as we build toward our March 14 Graduation Ceremony. Please be sure to mark this date down—and while you’re at it, you may also want to note June 20, which will be our next graduation ceremony after that.
Having these key events to look forward to throughout the year gives our students purpose and drive, helping them stay motivated and focused in their training. For those students preparing for the March 2nd Black Belt exams, this is an important reminder to remain disciplined and focused over the coming weeks so you can be in peak physical and mental condition on exam day.
If last week was any indication of what lies ahead, we are incredibly excited about what this new year will bring. We would like to thank all of our students and parents for a fantastic 2025, and we look forward to your continued growth and success in the year ahead.
We’ll see you in class this week as we continue striving toward Black Belt excellence!
