New Year, New Belt, New Confidence!

Today, we officially open our doors for 2026, and it’s exciting to think about everything that lies ahead. A new year brings new goals, fresh energy, and new growth opportunities, not just for our students, but for our entire FCMA community. We’re incredibly grateful to the families and students who create a team-winning environment at our dojo.

As I write this, the school is quiet, but not for long, as classes will begin later today. The dojo will once again be filled with focus, effort, and determination. It’s these moments of showing up consistently and putting in the work that will lead to the milestones ahead.

Looking forward, 2026 will be filled with progress: first stripes, new belts, personal breakthroughs, and proud moments on the floor each week. Every class between now and then matters as each bow, correction, and moment of effort will help shape our confident, disciplined students both on and off the mat.

It’s also exciting to think about the long-term journey, as some of your instructors once stood on this same floor, just as you will. Seeing them now, leading classes, mentoring students, and giving back reminds us that what starts here can grow into something truly meaningful over time.

As we begin this new year, I encourage everyone to look ahead with intention as you set your goals. We will need to stay consistent and trust the process as it helps define what comes next. Whether your focus is on your next belt, grad, confidence, fitness, or simply showing up week after week, 2026 is full of opportunities.

We’re looking forward to an incredible year ahead and can’t wait to see what each student accomplishes one class at a time!
