Every Next Level of Your Life Will Demand a Different You

If you happen to be at graduation on Saturday, you would’ve noticed some of the most focused and disciplined kids outdo themselves once again. The performances were spot on, and the intensity was at 100% as each student made an impact on the crowd that night.

I couldn’t believe how many kids took it upon themselves to practise at home and use the music links to prepare for Grad. You could see the pressure mounting and when the time came to give their best efforts they did so with the utmost ease. This was no accident, it was a direct result of practise, and it was nice to see children as young as 4 years old learning the value of being prepared. Additionally, it was nice to see the Tigers get out with 400+ eyes on them and perform without even a flinch; talk about unstoppable confidence. We couldn’t be prouder of your progress, and we look forward to our next event as we begin to think about the December Graduation.

For students that are learning a new curriculum we want you to remember to slow down and take your time to build the good habits needed to perfect your technique. Take it one move at a time and truly understand how it might flow from one move to the next. Using a little discipline and visualization can make all the difference as you start to memorize your new forms. If Saturday is any indication of what things can look like in December, then we are very excited to see the finished product.

Lastly, I hope you had a chance to see the groups above you and what you can be striving for. Using good role models and real-life examples is very important when you are looking for that inspiration to keep going and reach a new level. You are only as strong as the people around you and if you can push a little further, not only for yourself but for those around you, it will make you better. You’ve done it before, and it’s worked so why not do it again?
