Big Things Are Happening This March

With graduation and March Break now behind us, we’re excited to be back on track for an amazing stretch ahead.

Last week’s graduation was a true testament to our students’ hard work, dedication, and perseverance. It was one of the most well-attended events we’ve seen this past year, and the energy in the room reflected just how much progress everyone has made. Our students performed with precision, confidence, and focus, and our parents supported them in the best way possible.

It was especially meaningful to see our community come together for such a special occasion. Students and spectators bonded over a shared sense of pride and accomplishment, making the event one to remember. A huge congratulations goes out to our 13 new black belts, who had the incredible opportunity to take their first bows at graduation—an achievement that reflects years of hard work and commitment.

As we head into the weekend, we want to remind everyone that classes are still running. This is a great opportunity to stay consistent and set yourself up for success next week. While taking time for a mental reset is important, maintaining momentum and strong attendance will be key to continued growth. The habits you build now will carry forward into your next level of training and your path of life.

Looking ahead, we have an exciting and action-packed few weeks coming up at the dojo. Starting Monday, it’s Weapons Week! If you have your nunchucks, be sure to bring them to class. This is always a fun and challenging week where students can develop coordination, control, and confidence while learning new skills.

We’re also thrilled to be hosting our upcoming Buddy Day Board Break later this month. This is an amazing opportunity for students to invite a friend and show them the power of martial arts firsthand and there is nothing quite like experiencing the excitement of breaking a board and sharing that moment with someone new. We encourage all students to take part and help us grow our strong and supportive community and the event is in the sign-up if you would like to attend.

In addition, next week we’ll be hosting a Kids Night Out event at the dojo. This is a fantastic chance for students to enjoy some fun, social time outside of regular classes. Whether it’s games, activities, or just spending time with fellow students, it’s always a highlight and a great way to build friendships within the dojo.

Another exciting highlight this season is our dojo birthday parties, which continue to be a huge hit! These parties are a fun, high-energy way to celebrate, giving kids the chance to enjoy martial arts games, activities, and even board breaking with their friends. Our spring dates are already starting to fill up quickly, and because we can only host a limited number of parties each month, we highly recommend booking early to secure your spot.

We’re also beginning to look ahead to our June graduation, and this coming week we’ll be identifying top students with the Nunchux who are ready to perform. This is your time to step up, stay focused, and give your best effort, so we encourage everyone to bring their A-game this week and start practicing over the weekend.

Lastly, we want to take a moment to commend all of you for the hard work you’ve shown so far. Your dedication, effort, and positive attitude do not go unnoticed and we are proud of everything you’ve accomplished and are excited to see your continued growth.

Let’s keep pushing forward as we move through the spring and build momentum for an incredible start to 2026.
